A downloadable game for Windows

A mystery solving walking simulator with horror elements set in a forest where it's always raining. Your only tool is a flashlight, and your only clue to start with is that there is a mystery.

During the day the forest is lush and full of bird songs, but as the night comes down the forest changes and your only defence is your trusty flashlight. Keep it charged and it will keep you alive.

So come on, grab your legs and get ready. You've got a big and very important mystery to solve.

Full disclosure - The story in this game is very short (like 15 minutes) if you know what you're doing. The actual length of gameplay comes from walking around and discovering the mystery and then working out the clues. If you enjoy immersive experiences where you can walk around and listen to rain, and birds then this might be fun for you. Otherwise you may want to skip this one. There is no saving or loading.

  • Walking: WASD
  • Toggle Flashlight: F
  • Charge Flashlight: Hold C
  • Run: Hold Shift
  • Interact: Left Click

Sometimes I want to make a new system but I don't want to add it to my existing project, so I turn it into its own game. This game started as a custom solution to translate in-game strings to other languages.

The game will play best on mid to high-end PCs.

The text within this game can be translated to the below languages using the dropdown on the main menu.

  • English
  • German
  • French
  • Italian
  • Spanish
  • Russian
  • Japanese
  • Simplified Chinese

Note: Horror games aren't really my thing, so for those of you who are into them this probably isn't that scary. But my 13yr old nephew played it and said it was scary... So there's that.

yeah i clocked, pro gamer thing

After giving it a second try, Once you know what you are supposed to be doing the game is okay. Not the scariest, but at night gets a bit scary.

"and your only clue is that there is a mystery. "

Spend 1 hour running in circles, without finding nothing than a old cabin. Love these types of games, but there is a mystery isn't enough "clues" about what you have to do. Absolute dumpster fire game. Not sure what you wanted this game out to be.

NOTE TO CONTENT CREATORS! : if your OBS is not working with this game just leave the game. I spend 3 hours figuring out how to get the obs back on running and ended up having to delete all obs files. after fixing obs and trying the game again your recording will be so stuttery, take in consideration i run with 3060ti and r5 5600x

That’s unfortunate. You missed out on a the best ending in game history. Well at least that’s what one person told me.

The cabin is what you’re looking for, but perhaps it’s more about ‘when’ you’re looking for it. There are many subtle clues when listening to sounds and reading the text that appears when you do stuff.  But now I’ve said way too much.

Hey, thanks for giving it a go though.

that is something i wanted to hear, going to give it a another try. Like some good old devs used to say always assume gamers are the dumbest on the planet

one question is knowing its name the ending and going back to it? got a bit confused. I make full game walkthroughs so i like to be sure before naming it that

Without giving too many details, yes.
